HONG KONG, NOVEMBER 2021

From November 1 to 5, 2021, the 6th edition of Hong Kong FinTech Week was held in Hong Kong, organized by Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and InvestHK, and co-organized by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Insurance Authority, and the Securities and Futures Commission.

This year the theme of the event was "Scaling the FinTech Future Together", and it was a hybrid event, taking place both in person and virtually. The in-person event was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 3 to 4.

Hong Kong FinTech Week is Asia’s annual signature event for the financial technology industry, bringing together government, regulatory authority, and industry representatives to discuss the latest developments and opportunities in Hong Kong’s financial technology. The event attracted more than 17,000 participants from over 100 economies.

CRIF was one of the exhibitors, and during the event showcased how to accelerate customer digital transformation and enhance the customer experience with CRIF Digital Solutions.

In addition, Vincenzo Resta, Regional Executive Director of CRIF, was invited to be the moderator of a panel discussion on “CDI Success Stories: How Alternative Data Relieves SMEs' Collateral Burden” on November 4. Speakers from Bank of China (Hong Kong), Ping An OneConnect Bank, as well as Standard Chartered Bank shared their insights on the use of alternative data in the banking industry.
